Program Information
The Packer Hoops Intermediate Basketball Program is for boys in third through sixth grade who live in or attend schools within South Saint Paul. Packer Hoops basketball will provide all participants with a practice space, use of a game jersey and inspire each player to continue developing their basketball skills. This program will offer a more competitive environment without the level of commitment of our traveling program and will teach what it takes to play organized basketball, develop teamwork, responsibility, hard work and sportsmanship. We take pride in being a member of Packer Hoops and in our community in which we hold ourselves to a higher standard. We lead by example, respect the game of basketball as well as those around us while bringing joy to the game we love. We enjoy playing teams from our surrounding cities on Saturdays through out the season to show them our Packer Pride. Program Options
Due to the nature and impacts of COVID-19 we will have to limit the number of registrations/player spots per team/level of play. Registration spots will go quickly so please dont delay as once we reach capacity we are unable to make exceptions. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Practice Information
Teams will practice one (1) or two (2) times a week on Monday and/or Thursday evenings for 1 hour (90 Minutes for 5th & 6th Grade) in length. Practices will occur between 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm for our 3rd/4th grade teams and 5th/6th team(s) will practice 7:00pm – 8:30pm. All practices for the Intermediate program will be held at the South Saint Paul High School PAC Building, the address as well as a map of where to enter is outlined below.
The goal is to teach game plays, how to play as a team and advance one's basketball skills while working on overall team development over the course of the practice. Each session will consist of warm-ups, skill building drills, game plans/plays and positions, game drills as well as fun basketball games and/or scrimmages.
Practice starts Thursday December 4th, 2023 and will run throughout the season ending late February 2024. Practice schedules can be found below.

Game Information
Games will be held at one of eleven gyms with in the SSYBL foot print with all locations listed on our schedules links below.
Please arrive no more than 30 minutes and no less than 15 minutes prior to your game. Maroon jersey is home and White jersey is away and you must wear black shorts.
Games start Saturday January 6th, 2024 and will conclude February 25th, 2024 with the end of the season tournament. Game schedules are accessed using the link below and will be updated as information is sent to us.
