Program Information

The Packer Hoops Fundamentals Program is an introductory to basketball for kindergarten through second grade boys who live in or attend schools within South Saint Paul. The players will learn the basic fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, and passing as well as building the structures of teamwork. Packer Hoops basketball will provide all participants with gym space for each session, A Packer Hoops t-shirt, basketball and inspire each player to develop their basketball skills.

We take pride in being a member of Packer Hoops and in our community in which we hold ourselves to a higher standard. We lead by example, respect the game of basketball as well as those around us while bringing joy to the game we love.

Program Options

Due to the nature and impacts of COVID-19 we will have to limit the number of registrations/player spots per team/level of play. Registration spots will go quickly so please dont delay as once we reach capacity we are unable to make exceptions. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Session Information

Player will participate in our fundamentals sessions once a week on Thursday evenings for 1 hour in length. Each session will occur between 6:00pm - 7:00pm for all ages with in the fundamentals program(K-2nd). All sessions will be held at Lincoln Center Elementary’s Main Gym, the address as well as a map of where to enter is outlined below. We will enter via door #5 that is marked on the exterior of the building and will procced to the main gym on the right down the main hall.

The goal is to teach learn the basic fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, and passing as well as building the structures of teamwork. Each session will consist of warm-ups, skill building drills, as well as fun basketball games and/or the possibility of scrimmages.

Sessions starts Thursday January 4th, 2024 and will run through the season ending late February 2024. Our fundamentals schedule can be found below.
